Nature and Scope of Data Entry Operator:
The data entry operator is responsible for performing data entry work using a personal computer and appropriate software; entering, updating, researching, verifying and / or retrieving data into/ from various systems; and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of information recorded.
Data entry is the act of entering information into electronic formats by using word processing or data processing software hosted on a computer and its data entry operators who perform these tasks in truth, though “Data Entry” sounds technical, you can get many of these jobs with no previous experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

v Enters, updates and verifies data into various systems for use by all personal
v Review and verifies data entered into data base to ensure accuracy.
v Tracks Documents received and completion dates.
v Assists and trains employees and new data entry Operators on Software Programs.

v Provides assistance to Technical staff to resolve software problems.
v Creates back up files for all data.
