Industrial training institute, Sopore was established in December 1988 and started its first batch of trainees in July 1989. ITI, Sopore is situated at a distance of about 2 Km from Sopore town on Sopore - Bandipora road. The Institute under the guidance & support of National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), DGT, Ministry of Skill Development and Enterpreneurship, GOI and State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), Department of Skill Development Government of Jammu & Kashmir, is rendering its services by imparting vocational training in job oriented full time courses.The institution is covered under Upgradation
